Paul McKinley

Paul McKinley (R) is an Iowa State Senator.

He supports Iowa's English-only law, and he sent a letter to Iowa Secretary of State Chet Culver asking how much the entire process of handling foreign language voting materials costs Iowa taxpayers. (Source: [1]).

After the November 2006 election, he led a group of eight conservatives who walked out of the Republican Senate caucus to protest the election of Mary Lundby as minority leader.

After the November 2008 election, McKinley was elected minority leader, defeating Ron Wieck.
