Ty Cullen

Ty Cullen, a Democrat, was elected on November 2, 2010 to represent District 41 in the Hawaii State House of Representatives. Cullen defeated Carl Wong in the general election. House District 41 includes the areas of Waipahu, Village Park and Waikele.
Cullen ran unsuccessfully against Jon Riki Karamatsu in the democratic primary in 2008 for the District 41 seat.
Cullen has served as a member of the Waipahu Neighborhood Board and the Village Park Community Association. [1]
Cullen, prior to his election, was program coordinator for Hale Kipa, a non-profit that provides services for at-risk/high-risk youth. [2]
