Jeff Mullis is a rotund, buffoonish Republican state senator from Northwest Georgia aligned with Senator Chip Pearson and his so-called "Chips Caucus" of right wing, brown bashing nativist Republican politicians. He is the Chairman of the Senate Economic Development Committee, a post from which he ceaselessly promotes "Rock City," a tourist attraction in his Northwest Georgia district. Mullis often goes to the well of the Senate wearing a plastic bird house on his head with the slogan "See Rock City." He is also Vice Chairman of the Senate Republican Caucus and will likely be promoted now that his patron, the equally clownish Senator Casey Cagle has been elected Lieutenant Governor.
