Mr. Family Valies

On Wednesday, November 1, 2006, Houston Mayor Bill White responded to com, plaints by conservative Republicans that the city's health department was giving free flu shots at pollign places in poorer Black and Hispanic neighborhoods. Health department officials said they were only trying to reach people in these medically underserved communities. Woodfill is quoted as saying, "I think the program was completely motivated by a plan to turn out Democratic voters." Source: Matt Stiles, Anne Marie Kilday & Lori Rodriguez. "Offer of Free Flu Shots Halted at Polling Places: Mayor Cancels Program After Critics Slam it as a Politically Motivated Ploy." Houston Chronicle. November 2, 2006. News Report

No doubt Woodfill thinks of himself as believing in family values etc.
