Eryn Witcher

Eryn Witcher is a second Bush administration spokesperson. She has been tasked with defending the administration from revelations about its incompetent and blatantly partisan decision-making decision-making during the Katrina Hurricane disaster that devastated New Orleans and the surrounding Gulf Coast. Her previous position was as press secretary and spokesperson for Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Stephen L. Johnson, and as such she led EPA’s media response to the 2005 Gulf hurricanes. From 2003 to 2004, Witcher was a producer for Hardball with Chris Matthews on MSNBC. Before that she was the press secretary, and then later the campaign communications director for Republican New Hampshire Senator Bob Smith. Before that she was the deputy press secretary for Republican Georgia Senator Paul Coverdell.
