David Pendleton

David Pendleton, a member of the Republican Party, was first elected to the Hawaii State House of Representatives of the Hawaii State Legislature in the 1996 election cycle. Pendleton was elected to represent the 50th Representative District which includes the areas Maunawili, Pohakupu, Kailua, Enchanted Lake and parts of Kaneohe on the island of Oahu. Pendleton in 2000 was reelected to the House to represent the 49th district comprised of parts of Kaneohe and Maunawili on the island of Oahu. In 2004, Pendleton was defeated by his Democratic opponent Pono Chong in a bid for the 49th House seat.
