Pono Chong

Pono Chong (born Aug. 27, 1970), a member of the Democratic Party, represents the 49th Representative District in the Hawaii State House of Representatives of the Hawaii State Legislature. The 49th District includes the Maunawili, Olomana, Enchanted Lake and Kaneohe areas of the island of Oahu, in the state of Hawaii.
Chong was born and raised in Kailua on the island of Oahu. He is a graduate of the University of Hawaii with a degree in International Economics.
