Continuous municipal performance audit

From dKosopedia

A continuous municipal performance audit is a municipal performance audit conducted very frequently, e.g. bi-weekly as opposed to annual audits as standardized by the US GAO. Continuous application of performance audit methods is generally believed to be the only way to achieve quality management in government.

Successful programs at the municipal level include Baltimore CitiStat.
