Talk:Voter Registration Fraud Clearinghouse

From dKosopedia

I have been going through the links, and cleaning up the information to make it more usable and sussinct. It is important that the front page of the Voter Registration Fraud Clearinghouse to be as clean as possible. Think of it as a table of contents, so that we can off load information to their respective pages.

Previous:

I changed the links. They used to go to the general state pages (i.e. the ones that list the senators, govenors, state facts, etc.), now they go to as-of-yet nonexistant pages that will outline the instances of potential fraud in each state.

I think those pages should each have a list of incidences and alleged incidences, including links to news stories and information, all the relavant diaries and other blog entries, the number of votes and the groups involved, and a a status (e.g. BREAKING, ONGOING, RESOLVED, etc.). The most critical ones can get bubbled up to the top and the others can get dropped to the bottom of each page (e.g. the Ohio one about the paper weight seems to have been resolved and would go to the bottom of the page for historical purposes).

It seems like the number of diaries that appear about these can be pretty big and some useful information may get lost in the shuffle. The wiki will be a much better way to keep track in an organized way rather than the "big pile o' recommended diaries" techinque.

Phoenix TV Station Reports Voter Fraud in AZ

KPHO Channel 5's 10:00 pm newscast featured "Breaking News" that the firm which allegedly destroyed Democratic voter registrations in Nevada is based in Phoenix, and that employees of the firm have told Channel 5 that the stories are true. They also reported tampering with voter registrations in Arizona. In addition, the report specifically stated that company employees alleged that the registrations destroyed were those marked "Democrat".

Need Opinions-

I would like to post various state Dem Party toll-free numbers to report disenfranchisement and fraud.

By posting them, might we create a situation where by they could be jammed by Freeper-types?

Article needs structure

I would suggest that this article needs some structure. To begin with 2 or 3 introductory paragraphs explaining the problem would help. For example, you could simply list briefly the most egregious examples of Voter Registration Fraud, and point out that this has set a pattern in various other states.

Then try to provide a brief summary of some of the links.

Other suggestions: Maybe changing the section title Help page to How to get Help.

This is a fast moving page and in the next two days one would hope to get lots of hits from outside dKos community.CSTAR 08:59, 30 Oct 2004 (PDT)
