Vicky Vermaat is a Republican activist from Iowa. From 1995 to 2002 she was on the staff of Congressman Tom Latham. In a rather unusual arrangement, she lived in Orange City but was the head of the congressional staff in Washington, D.C., and in Iowa, but redistricting moved her home outside of Latham's district.

Vermaat, a former member of the Republican state central committee, was the campaign manager for Latham's first bid for Congress in 1994. She also had worked on the campaigns of former Rep. Fred Grandy, Latham's predecessor in western Iowa.

She is advising Jim Nussle on his 2006 campaign for Governor.
