Tommy Irvin

Tommy Irvin, a Democrat, is Commissioner of Agriculture of the State of Georgia. He was appointed to this job in 1969 by then Governor Lester Maddox. Irvin is the longest serving statewide elected official in Georgia. He is also a top vote getter.
