Tim Hoy is the ex-Mayor of Eldora, Iowa. Tim is a graduate of Drake University, in Des Moines, Iowa. He is the co-owner and business manager of Eldora Pharmacy, that is run by his wife Melody. He also is the co-owner and manager of Ahoy Fountain, a traditional soda fountain adjoining the Pharmacy.

He ran for District 44 of the state legislature, but lost to the incumbent, see Iowa State House elections, 2006.
