Lt. Col. Tim Dunn is a Democratic veteran, who served in the Persian Gulf War. He ran for Congress in North Carolina's 8th District, but withdrew from the primary and endorsed teacher Larry Kissell.

Tim was an officer in the Marine Corps, where he won a Bronze Star, and he was one of the Fighting Dems.

Tim Dunn is a 45 year old native of North Carolina. He resides in Fayetteville, where he and his wife Susan have three children.
