The bridge to nowhere seems to be the poster child for what's wrong with todays Republicans.

Plans to build it were real and Sarah Palin supported it until she flip-floped on the issue.[1]

Don't worry though, while the bridge was never built a multi-million dollar road to where the bridge was intended to be built has been completed [2]
