The Daily Caller

From dKosopedia

A conservative/Republican spin site, The Daily Caller was launched in 2010 (after nearly a year seeking funding) by partners Tucker Carlson and former Dick Cheney aide Neil Patel.[1] The goal of the Web site is to provide a conservative spin to news that appears on The Huffington Post.

Contents

Foundation

Throughout 2009, The Daily Caller sought funding. Tucker suggested an organization like it at the 2009 CPAC. Then, in May 2009, they announced the site at a Heritage Foundation gathering. They collected "3 million in start-up capital" and pushed back site start dates from June 2009, to Autumn, and eventually Early 2010.

Distribution

Besides the TheDailyCaller.com site, it also releases videos on Youtube and Tucker regularly appears as a guest "contributor" on FOX News.
