Terry Stulce is a Democratic candidate who ran for Congress in the 3rd District, but he lost the primary, see Tennessee U.S. House election, 2006. He was one of the Fighting Dems.
That Congressional seat is currently held by Republican Zach Wamp, who repudiated his pledged commitment to limit himself to six tersm in office soon by running for a seventh term. Stulce shas satted that Wamp's broken vow is "a reflection of his character."
Stulce is a family counselor. In 1967, he graduated from the University of Tennessee (Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude), while on an ROTC scholarship. A member of the very first class of ROTC scholarship students across the nation, he was recognized as “The Honor Graduate,” the top in the class of all ROTC scholarship students from everywhere in the country. He is a decorated U.S. Army Ranger who served in the 101st Airborne, and a veteran of the Vietnam War where he fought and led soldiers in combat through two tours of duty.
Stulce and his wife Kate have two grown children.
