Talk:Ten Commandments

From dKosopedia

Last week was just unbelievable (5-18/08) After reading Sunday's Columbus Ledger-Enquirer I just had to point out to the constituents of Georgia's Third Congressional District what a hypocrite Rep. Lynn Westmoreland is. He is quoted in the front page article, criticizing Gov. Perdue for not having "Met our obligations to our veterans.". He said he was "Utterly stunned" upon hearing Gov Perdue vetoed funding in a bill for the new Infantry Museum at Fort Benning. Then I go to the legislative Roll Call to read that Rep Westmoreland voted a resounding NO! for an amendment to HR 2642 to establish a new GI Bill that would pay for higher education costs at public universities for post 9/11 military veterans. It is totally reprehensible that our Georgia Republican elected officials are short changing our well deserving troops and being hypocritical about it too. This November, It's time for change!
