Stacy Higa

Stacy Higa, elected in 2004, represents the 4th district on the Hawaii County Council. This is his first time in elective office. The 4th district includes South Hilo (Keaukaha, Panaewa, Waiakea Houslots, portions of Downtown Hilo, University and portions of Waiakea Homesteads). Higa is the current Hawai'i County Council Chairman. In the September 23, 2006 primary, Higa prevailed over two challengers.

Stacy Higa is a business owner living in Hilo who has spent most of his life on the Big Island.
