Talk:Senate Committee on Rules and Administration

From dKosopedia

The following is based on what I wrote under the discussion section for the corresponding House committee, the Committee on House Administration (CHA):

The most interesting aspect to me about the committee is its ability to promote election integrity.

According to the Mercury News, Dianne Feinstein plans to scrutinize e-voting. This is good news.

It sounds like Feinstein's also going to promote H.R. 550, Rush Holt's bill (or S. 330, its Senate counterpart?). This is also good news. I recommend that people read up on H.R. 550 on Verified Voting's legislation overview page. I don't know how much her S. 330/H.R. 550 advocacy will influence her work as committee chair or vice versa. Any statements about that would be welcome.

You may find my dKosopedia Voting Rights, Election integrity timeline, and Federal voting legislation pages useful.

Here's a question: Will the current staff stay on?
