Reason to create article

Wikipedia has an extensive article on this subject, but it's under attack there. It's been repeatedly targeted for deletion. There's currently yet another effort underway.

To make sure that none of the information is lost, I've done a complete dump of the text of the Wikipedia article as of June 6, 2011 at 17:04 UTC. I haven't tried to "dKosify" the article by removing the Wikipedia templates and so on. If the deletionists at Wikipedia succeed, then the article here will become the best source for this information, and I'll tackle that project. Until then, keeping the text here is just a safeguard, so that all this hard work isn't flushed down the memory hole. Jim Lane 13:15, 6 June 2011 (EDT)
