Ryan Yamane

Ryan Yamane (born October 24, 1969), is a member of the Democratic Party, represents the 37th Representative District in the Hawaii State House of Representatives of the Hawaii State Legislature. The 37th District includes the Waipahu, Mililani and Waipi'o areas of the island of Oahu, in the state of Hawaii.
Yamane is a freshman legislator in the 2005 legislative session, having defeated Repulican Rep. Guy Ontai in the 2004 general election.
Yamane is a Licensed Social Worker and had been Clinical Director of Ho'okupono Program, providing adolescent day treatment programs, prior to being elected.
Yamane is a graduate of St. Louis High School. He has a BA is Psychology obtained in 1992, a Masters of Social Work recieved in 1996 and a Masters of Business Administration recieved in 2002, all from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Yamane was a Neighborhood Board Member, Waipahu District 22, from 1999 to 2004.
