Russo Marsh & Rogers
From dKosopedia
A GOP public relations firm run out of San Francisco, California.
In the 2001/02 electoral cycle, Russo Marsh and Rogers received $2,475,223 in payments from Republican politicians, and no payments at all from Democrat politicans [1].
Until around May 2003, RM+R was affiliated with Marsh, Copsey + Scott, which is based in the DC area, and has offices in Nashville, TN. However, it is not clear that the companies have any formal connection now [2].
RM+R is currently engaged in a campaign to persuade theater owners not to show the upcoming Michael Moore film Fahrenheit 9/11.
RM+R previously engaged in a similar campaign to discourage CBS from airing the miniseries The Reagans. It aired instead on Showtime.
Affiliations
- Until about May 2003, Marsh, Copsey + Scott was an affiliate. An analysis of their respective websites in the Internet Archive suggests that this is no longer the case [3]. The Center for Public Integrity website contains this page that suggests an affiliation exists, however another page from the same website indicates that that information dates from before May 2003.
