Ron Sunseri

Ron Sunseri ran for the Oregon State Senator for State Senate District 25 in 2004 against, and lost to Laurie Monnes Anderson. He was formerly a House Representative in the legislature.

Background

Ron Sunseri served as a military officer and pilot in the U.S. Army, and after a tour in Vietnam, he continued his service as a flight instructor. Ron returned home to Oregon after seven years of active duty service.

He is currently owner and managing broker of a Gresham real estate company, and for thirty years has been active in residential and commercial real estate. He is a general contractor and has been a partner in a local construction company for the last three years.

Governmental Experience

In 1990, Ron Sunseri was elected to the Oregon House of Representatives, and was re-elected in 1996 and 1998. He served on the Housing and Urban Development Committee. He chaired the Family Law Committee in 1997 and was the chairman of the House Education Committee during the 1999 Legislative Session.
