From dKosopedia
Robin Schimminger is a Democratic New York State Assemblyman from Kenmore, Erie County.
In her 2006 reelection campaign Schimminger has a campaign war chest of $290,243 and faces a poorly funded Republican challenger. According to Rachel Leon, New York Common Cause director, the high contribution limits set by the New York state campaign finance laws permit politicians to build reserves. Some 55% of the campaign donations in the 2002, 2004 and 2006 election cycles were for more than $2,100.
