Background
Robert Bunda (b. April 25, 1947, Waialua), a member of the Democratic Party, represented the 22nd Senatorial District in the Hawaii State Senate of the Hawaii State Legislature. The 22nd Senatorial District includes the Mililani Mauka, Wahiawa, Haleiwa, Mokuleia and North Shore areas of the island of Oahu. Bunda resigned the Hawaii Senate on July 16, 2010, to run unsuccessfully for Lt. Governor.
