Rob Leebern is the President-Federal Affiars at Troutman Sanders Public Affairs Group, LLC, a lobbying firm connected with the Atlanta based law firm of Troutman Sanders LLP.
Leebern got his start in politics as an aide to U.S. Senator Saxby Chambliss of Georgia. He managed Chambliss's campaigns for Congress in 1992 and 1994 and served as his chief of staff until 2002 when he resigned to manage Chambliss's campaign for the Senate. As Chambliss's chief of staff, he also served as liaison between the House Leadership and the White House staff. Leebern "cashed in" after Chambliss was elected to the Senate joining the Troutman Sanders LLP law firm as a lobbyist.
Leebern graduated from Republican Campaign Management College in 2002. He is connected with a number of right wing fundraising and networking organizations.
