RV or Registered voter. This term shows up in polling reports, as distinct from LV or Likely voter. Of course nobody knows who will actually get out and vote on election day, so deciding who the LV's are in any poll gives the pollster much flexibility in manipulating the outcome. Conversely, getting meaningful results from a poll (if that's what you're after, rather than public relations effect) requires modelling the electorate with exquisite care and insight in order to choose the LV's from your poll.
