Ray Taliaferro

Ray Taliaferro is a liberal talk radio host on KGO in San Francisco, California.
He broadcasts his show, "The Early Show with Ray Taliaferro", during the 1-5 A.M. PDT.
Taliaferro started in talk radio in 1967 at KNEW, also located in San Francisco, which has since turned into a right-wing, Fox News Radio channel hosting the likes of Bill O'Reilly and [[Armstrong and Ghetty] .
During that time period, he also hosted a show on KHJ-TV and then on KRON-TV, the former NBC affiliate, which is now an independent station.
In 1977, Ray joined KGO, an ABC affilliate, on 810 on the radio dial. In addition, he hosted a weekend program on KGO's television station.
He was the first talk show host to talk about the Project for the New American Century in the United States.
