Talk:Project for the New American Century
From dKosopedia
THIS PAGE REALLY BUGS ME.
- it's great.
- it's disinfopedia's
- why fork their work? I was going to stomp this with a link to the disinfopedia article but some people have changed it and so i don't -want- to do that.
- The thing is... they have a good article which they will continue to work on, will we be merging their changes here?
- This wiki is not JUST about having a good article... if a good article is out there then as with a blog we can link to it! The other purpose of this wiki is for us to create these articles, not just provide them mind you, but to author them, to go through the process of research, the process of thinking it all through. Doing that means reading disinfopedia's article etc. etc. etc. and possibly synthesizing it. This is a great article... we should link to it. And if we have nothing to add, then it stays a link. This forking does NOT inspire original input... the article is good, it's daunting to improve... and why not improve it at disinfopedia if one doesn't see the need for another viewpoint on it.
imnsho. But moreover... what should I do about it..? I'm now inclined, when I have the effort to spare, to remove this article but try to preserve the dkosopedia changes along with a link to disinfopedia.
NOTE: I didn't even know about disinfopedia until we started this wiki. Having a link there from here is a service in itself. That wiki is awesome.--Pyrrho 15:00, 29 Jun 2004 (PDT)
