The precedence was set on one of the main index pages linked from the front page for the format of names: Lastname, First. Check Biographies?
I'm sure this will shake out in the future, but it seems pretty drastic to eliminate the content in one topic that you did not author and put it into another. Is there a protocol for verifying before making a big change?
I'm following the guidelines at Wikipedia. And there are edit logs, and you can change it back. Also, use tildes (~) to leave your name, 3 for name, 4 for timestamp.
Okay, got it. I fixed all of the old topics that I did the previous way. Thanks for your help. --Aaron Gillies 16:17, 28 May 2004 (PDT)
--Pyrrho 18:39, 28 May 2004 (PDT) Power, I just wanted to say "awesome" all the content... it was the complete list of representatives that made me want to give you a "right on" but also noticing you all over the wiki. Thanks... and I see from the comments above you were the one that switched the name standard... it's better this way and I was wondering who did that (not enough to check however :) anyway cheers.
Power 19:04, 28 May 2004 (PDT) Also check other sources. Wikipedia and other sources are your friend, at least to start with.
--MaxomaiAppreciated the fix to John_Kerry, that was bugging me.
