Peter Ahrensdorf - Davidson College. Ahrendsdorf received his B.A. from Yale (1980) and his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago (1989) where he was a student of Bloom on the Committee on Social Thought. Currently Associate Professor at Davidson College since 1995; previously Visiting Instructor of Political Science at Kenyon College (1986-89) and Lecturer at Chicago, Social Sciences Collegiate Division (1983-85). Coauthor (with Thomas Pangle) of Justice Among Nations: On the Moral Basis of Power and Peace and author of The Death of Socrates and the Life of Philosophy: An Interpretation of Plato's Phaedo.
