155,428 PB's statewide / 5,574,476 ballots cast = 2.79% PB's statewide

The PB data is only broken out to the county level: 88 counties; Bush won 72, Kerry won 16.

16 Kerry counties: PB's = 85,228; ballots cast = 2,785,670 (3.06%)

72 Bush counties: PB's = 70,200; ballots cast = 2,788,806 (2.52%)

64 counties had 2.79% or fewer PB's / ballots cast (8 Kerry, 56 Bush)

24 counties had 2.80% or more PB's / ballots cast (8 Kerry, 16 Bush)

Bush won 81.8% of OH counties, Kerry won 18.2% of OH counties. However, of the 64 counties at or below the 2.79% PB ratio, Bush won 87.5%, Kerry won 12.5%. Of the 24 counties above the 2.79% PB ratio, Bush won 66.6%, Kerry won 33.3%.

Clearly, both by total PB's cast and by PB ratio, Kerry counties cast significantly more PB's than Bush counties.
