I'd like to understand better what's involved first. Has anyone "briefed" you?

As for e-mail contact, my e-mail address (alanfordean AT-SIGN yahoo DOT com) is listed on my dKos profile page. You might want to put your address on your profile page, too (with "@" replaced by "AT" or "AT-SIGN", etc., in order to frustrate automatic spammers). The address I'm using is one of my political accounts, not my main account, so if spam or obnoxious e-mail became an issue, I could shut it down easily. However, I've never had a problem.

One more thing: to make it clear who's who, it's good to sign your notes on a talk page. The wiki will fill this in automatically if you leave two dashes followed by a space followed by four tildes (~).

Whatever structure we set up for this effort, I look forward to working with you!

My email address is caseyannhughes AT gmail DOT com. I'll change it on my profile when I get a chance. I leaving for Austria for most of the month. Although I will be occasionally checking my email, I won't have time to do much.

No one has briefed me, I just signed up when they were looking for volunteers. I picked Rules, because my Senator is Chair, until January. I haven't checked back that often, so I don't even know how far this project has gotten. I haven't done anything like this, so if you're more familiar with these projects, I would love you to take the lead. However, I am knowledgeable about Washington, how it works, etc.
