Nancy Schaefer

Nancy Schaefer ran unsuccessfully for Mayor of Atlanta in 1993, Lieutenant Governor of Georgia in 1994, Governor of Georgia in 1998 and the State Senate in 2000 and 2002 before finally winning a Senate seat in 2004. She is a conservative Republican and a supporter of the Church of Scientology.
