Talk:Minnesota Fraud
From dKosopedia
I created the diary (MISSING- One million voter registration cards) referenced here, and this story does not contain any evidence of fraud. Calling it Minnesota Fraud is misleading. In fact, it has been controversial here at DailyKos, because some feel that the comments by Sec. of State Kiffmeyer were made to advance a pro-Republican political agenda by setting the stage for accusing Democrats of registration and voter fraud. This remains to be seen, but I don't think it belongs on this list.
I agree and I don't, My hopes in contributing to this clearinghouse is to help establish a context for understanding, and a resource for finding patterns and interconnections. With that broad brush, many of the things listed do not fit the original title "voter registration fraud".
If RedDan's Broad definition of Fraud on the fraud page [1] doesn't work for you, please pitch in an make it more clear for everyone.

Some guy keeps accosting me every time I walk into the library, asking me if I'm going to vote for Bush. It's an annoyance (and the guy's memory must be all f'd up because he should have by now memorized the fact I am not voting for Bush). However today when I asked him why he didn't ask a more generic question such as "who are you voting for" he got pretty testy and followed me into the library.
I'm curious if this guy's really doing what he claims to be doing (voter registration) or just selectively trying to register Bush supporters. Is this legal?CSTAR 14:17, 22 Oct 2004 (PDT)
