Dayton announced his retirement, which may end up helping Democratic chances of keeping the seat. Amy Klobuchar, Attorney for Minnesota's largest county, has already announced. Rasmussen Reports, on October 9, 2006, shifted this Senate race from “Leans Democrat” to “Democrat” [1]
