Talk:Michigan Cities

I'm not sure why this page exists. All it really does is generate a bunch of empty page references, mostly for cities and towns which will probably never have an entry on here anyway. Am I missing something? --Clang 17:48, 7 Jun 2004 (PDT)

Some guy made a Michigan page, and apparently he saw fit to list all of the counties and cities on pages entitled, respectively, "COUNTIES" and "CITIES." Just like that. No "Michigan," nothing. He also made state house and senate pages entitled "STATE HOUSE - REPUBLICAN MAJORITY" and "STATE SENATE - REPUBLICAN MAJORITY." I moved those pages to "Michigan Cities," "Michigan Counties," etc. You're right, though, the cities & counties lists have no real purpose -- UNLESS someone eventually sits down and does, say, a political profile of every city & county in Michigan, which is doubtful --Brock 06:22, 8 Jun 2004 (PDT)

Yes, I remember that, and this is at least an improvement over that state of affairs. I guess it is harmless enough to leave them here, and there seems to be a strong "don't delete anything" sentiment on here anyway. --Clang 11:46, 8 Jun 2004 (PDT)
