Micah Kane

Micah Kane, a member of the Republican Party, was appointed Director of the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands in 2003 by Governor Linda Lingle. Kane was previously served as the executive director of the Hawaii Republican Party from 1999 until he became its Chairman from 2002 until 2003. Kane also was government affairs liaison with Building Industry Association of Hawaii.
Joelle Kane, wife of Micah, was appointed by Gov. Lingle to the board of the Research Corporation of the University of Hawaii in 2003.
