Martin Sculz

Martin Schulz is an MEP and leader of the Socialist Party group in the European Parliament.

On November 15, 2006 Schulz commented that, "Israel should make sure it's legal culture is not part of the colateral damage [of the conflict]." He called on the Israeli government to bring to justice those responsible for the atrocity at Beit Hanoun, which was dubbed a "technical mistake" by Jerusalem.
