Professor Hunt has done research in political philosophy and theory. His interests include Kantian and Hegelian philosophy, the Scottish Enlightenment and the problems of modern civil society. He has taught at Kenyon College and Harvard, as well as in Political Science at MSU. He was a Fulbright Graduate Fellow at the University of Erlangen in Germany, 1987-1988 and an Olin Fellow in Political Theory, 1995-96.
