Lisa Naito was sworn in as Multnomah County Commissioner in June 1998, representing the Third District, which encompasses much of southeast Portland. She won re-election to a full term beginning in January 2001, and was re-elected again in 2004.
Lisa chairs the Local Public Safety Coordinating Council (LPSCC), is a member of the Metro Policy Advisory Committee (MPAC), and serves as Multnomah County’s representative to the City of Portland's "Future of PGE Roundtable,"and to the Children’s Initiative fund allocation committee.
At the national level, Commissioner Naito is a member of the National Association of Counties (NACo) Justice and Public Safety Steering Committee and serves on NACo’s Early Childhood Development Task Force.
