Kerri Houston is a director of GOPUSA, a "conservative news, information, and design company dedicated to promoting conservative ideals." She is also the Vice President of Policy for Frontiers of Freedom, an organization formed by former Wyoming Senator Malcolm Wallop, who has close ties to both Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney.

Kerri Houston is a public policy analyst and expert in media, marketing and external relations for public policy institutes. Based in Dallas, she is director of American Conservative Network, a state outreach project of The American Conservative Union (ACU).
Prior to joining with ACU to start the American Conservative Network project, Ms. Houston was executive director of State Policy Network, a member organization of free market state-based think tanks. In this capacity, she served as facilitator for the 37 state public institutes in assisting them to meet their communications, publications and governmental outreach needs.
Ms. Houston also worked as director of external affairs for Dallas' Institute for Policy Innovation (IPI). Her responsibilities at IPI included all facets of marketing, media relations, and special events,as well as acting as the Institute's liaison to Capitol Hill legislators and other free market policy centers.
In addition to her expertise in public relations, Ms. Houston gained experience in print editing and production as publisher of the prestigious Dallas Business Review and the Houston Business Review magazines whose author-driven content was modeled after the Harvard Business Review.
Originally from New England, Ms. Houston also spent many years in real estate development both in the Dallas and Boston areas, administering sales and marketing programs for commercial developers, specializing in preparing and submitting zoning and permitting applications to local governing boards.
A strong proponent of individual and economic liberty, federalism, and free markets, Ms. Houston is a Brain Trust columnist for Investor's Business Daily, and her opinion/editorials have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Times, The Dallas Morning News, Forbes magazine, Conservative HQ online, and numerous other print, internet outlets and institutional publications throughout the country. She is a frequent guest on USA Radio Network's "Point of View" and occasionally joins Voice of America's Gary Nolan for "Nolan at Night." Ms. Houston is the mother of two children, Caitlin, 16, and Connor, 9. Her other interests include participation in many community and civic organizations, including public relations advisor for the Dallas Susan G. Komen's Race for the Cure, and serving on the board of the Repertory Dance Theatre of Texas.
