Talk:Ken Livingstone

From dKosopedia

The controversy is over "He has changed his politics from out-and-out Marxism to something Clintonian." Knowing nothing about the man, it does sound purposefully inflammatory, both the Marxism and the Clintonian comments. Can this be resolved?

No Longer Mayor

He lost the last election so I wanted to change the article. Out and out Marxism is something of an exaggeration of the "Red Ken" who lead the GLC in the early 80s, but the right wing of the British Press have never forgiven him for talking to Sein Fein in the 80s (I guess a modern equivalent would be an anti Afghan war American politician talking to the Taliban). Whilst something Clintonian is not quite how I'd describe the Ken of the last few years, but in his last two Mayoral runs he stood as a Labour candidate. Urban Peasant 15:28, 18 September 2010 (EDT)
