Ken Jacobsen

From dKosopedia

Senator Ken Jacobsen (D) has been in Washington State Government for a very long time. I'll do more research on his career, but he ran unopposed for his State Senate seat in November 2002. He is also the chair of the Senate Democratic Campaign Committee, working to get Democrats elected to the Washington State Legislature.

Senator Jacobsen has stood up to everyone including the people themselves, introducing a measure that would roll back some of the abilities of the Initiative process. Thanks to many of the recent tax initiatives, getting a balanced budget in Washington State is nearly impossible without cutting desparately needed services.

Senator Jacobsen stood up for John Kerry early in the Primary, having worked with him for a number of years and appreciating this presidential candidate's position on veterans issues.
