Ken Ito

Ken Ito, a member of the Democratic Party, represents the 48th Representative District in the Hawaii State House of Representatives of the Hawaii State Legislature. The 48th District includes the Heeia, Haiku Valley, Kapunahala and Kaneohe areas on the island of Oahu, in the state of Hawaii. Ito has been a member of the House since 1994.
Ito was born April 29, 1944, in Honolulu. He is a 1962 graduate of Farrington High School and earned his BEd degree from the University of Hawaii in 1970. He has been a teacher since 1970 and before elected office.
