Kam Tanaka

Kameo "Kam" Tanaka (born May 29, 1937), is a member of the Democratic Party, represents the 12th Representative District in the Hawaii State House of Representatives of the Hawaii State Legislature. The 12th District includes the Lahaina, Kaanapali, Kapalua, Maalaea and Kihei areas of the island of Maui, in the state of Hawaii.
Kam Tanaka is a retired state corrections officer and half brother of former state Sen. Joe Tanaka of Maui. Tanaka is a freshman legislator in the 2005 legislative session having beaten incumbent, first term, Rep. Brian Blundell in the 2004 elections.
