John Wolfe is a Democrat, a lawyer and a military veteran from Ohio. He ran for Congress in the 13th District, formerly held by Sherrod Brown, see Ohio U.S. House election, 2006.

He is one of the many Fighting Dems who lost his 2006 primary bid. The winner was Betty Sutton.

John is a veteran of World War II, serving in Korea, a graduate of the University of Akron and the Law School of the University of Michigan, a former Democratic Chairman of Cuyahoga Falls. He is also an active preservationist, having faithfully restored an historic home in Akron, where he now lives. He's a member and supporter of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Ohio Historical Society, and is a past President of Progress Through Preservation. He has two children and four grandchildren.
