James Werner

James Werner is a Libertarian politican and one of five 2006 Texas gubernatorial candidates. He is competing against incumbent Republican Governor Rick Perry, Democratic candidate Chris Bell, Independent Texas Comptroller Carole Keeton Strayhorn and Independent Kinky Friedman.

Although on the ballot, Werner was not among the four gubernatortial candidates invited to the gubernatorial debate on Friday, October 6, 2006.
