Term:Intelligent Design

From dKosopedia

The term "Intelligent Design" (usually capitalized as it refers to God's work) is a synonomy for what is sometimes called more honestly Creationism or (less honestly) Creation Science.

Arguments are usually not subjected to much debate but tend to follow circular paths of reasoning or simple authority arguments as most effectively detailed in this biting creationism cartoon from yoism.org, or the onion story on 'Intelligent Falling'.

One merit of debating Intelligent Design of organisms is that the green design revolution may seem to be validated as an aspect of continuing God's Creation or minimally interfering with it.

It is also possible that genetic modification may be either encouraged or discouraged by debate of the merits of direct design of organisms "by God".
