Honouliuli Internment Camp

The Honouliuli internment camp, one of at least five Hawaii internment camps, opened on March 1, 1943. The camp housed up to 320 internees mostly second-generation Japanese Americans, but, included Germans and Italians. The Honouliuli camp was located in leeward Oahu, in Kunia.
